If you don’t know by now Werner Herzog is my favorite director and one of my favorite humans of all time. I have seen everything he’s ever put his name on except for a 7 minute short that I can’t get my hands on for some reason.
This is a video talking about how much he hates chickens. But chickens have played amazing roles in his films. The canibal chickens in Even Dwarves Started Small and the dancing chicken in Stroszek come to mind…
Chickens are in fact extremely stupid but they are also amazingly delicious and super weird looking. Fried chicken is my favorite food and I have a fried chicken tattooed to my arm and a rooster chasing a pig tattooed to my leg because they are amazing looking.
Long story short is I cannot explain how fucking psyched I was to see this absurd little video clip.
