I hope you saw all my Insane Clown Posse live shots from yesterday. Gonna try to put up three galleries today.

This should be my last Gathering of the Juggalos related Tumblr post, at least until I get my film developed, but starting today I am going to be uploading roughly 1000 GOTJ photos to Driven By Boredom. My hope is to get them up by the time I leave for my grandmother’s funeral Saturday morning.
Anyway, I will probably talk about this again on DBB but on the last day of GOTJ Camille Dodero interviewed ICP for the Village Voice and I went along to take photos. At the end of the interview ICP invited us to take part in “Faygo Armageddon” which happens at the end of their set. They invite all the Psychopathic Records artists and other bands still hanging out at the Gathering as well as pretty much anyone back stage to come on during ICP’s last song and throw all the Faygo they have left into the crowd.
Real quick primer for those not in the know… Faygo is a discount soda brand popular in the midwest. ICP sprays this stuff on their fans during shows. They go through hundreds of two liter bottles every show.
Anyway, Camille and I (and Chris Weingarten who was covering the GOTJ for MTv’s Hive blog) got to run on stage and throw Faygo everywhere. It was one of the most fun things I have ever done. I shook up and opened easily 30 bottles of the stuff myself. It was so weird to be on stage with all these bands that we had spent the last four days covering and just throwing Faygo at them. I saw Twiztid hiding in the back and we had just interviewed them earlier in the day so I decided I would hit one of them with a spray of diet rootbeer as he was running off stage. I nodded at him and he laughed and pointed back at me. The whole thing was mildly surreal.
When we got off stage Andy, the Psychopathic PR Girl took a photo of the three journalists soaking wet after an experience we will all never forget.
