I shot Sarah Lee on a train platform with the Vietnam era Pentax camera that my mom gave me when I took my first photo class in 1995. I haven’t shot with it since I bought a Nikon N80 in 1999. It was really great to use it again and I got some shots I really loved but the shutter jams about every 10th shot.
This photo was from one of those times. I have never been one for using plastic or broken cameras or weird methods to get strange unreplicable images, but sometimes a happy accident can really make a shot. In this case the image makes it look like Sarah is about to get swallowed up by the darkness as the world ends around her.
Have a nice weekend!
